Thirteen movies I will always watch through to the end no matter where they are in the story when I come across them on television. Not that they're particularly good... they're not particularly bad even. They just suck me in like a black hole.
I don't think it's any coincidence that half these movies come from the 80s... or that John Cusack was in almost twenty-five percent of them.
What are your "I can't look away from it" movies?
- Hello Dolly!
- Gross Pointe Blank
- The Jerk
- Stand By Me
- The Shawshank Redemption
- Casablanca
- Ferris Bueller's Day Off
- Dirty Dancing (lord help me, I can't believe I'm admitting this one - this movie is like crack... or an accident on the highway... you know it's bad for you, but you can't look away)
- The Wedding Singer
- Say Anything
- Better off Dead
- The Green Mile
- The Jazz Singer

Oddly, I haven't seen most of them ... well. 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 11, I've seen. And would probably watch them.
I don't have a list -- My husband is a bit ADD, so if he's home and anything comes on that he doesn't want to watch, he'll change the channel or turn it OFF! even if I'm watching it. Yes, I've yelled at him before. More than once. *sigh* He's better now, but I also don't watch much TV when he's around anymore, and if I do, I don't get too invested in it. lol

The Matrix (not it's sequels, just the first one)

A lot of the movies you've chosen, plus Princess Bride, Real Genius, Gladiator, The Phildelphia Story, It Happened One Night, Steel Magnolias, Wizard of Oz... and I think my "Dirty Dancing" quilty pleasure would be "The Cutting Edge" - just can't not watch it! "TOE PICK!" lol

Ooo. These are all good ones, but @Gigs just reminded me of The Cutting Edge. Totally! "Can we teach it to breathe through it's mouth?"
