I love it! Of course, I had songs like that when I was a kid. For the longest time I thought the words to "As I Have Loved You" were

For years, I wondered what a shallmendo was. Then I saw the lyrics in writing and learned it was "shall men know."
I think jolly oats and nickle-es sounds way better than shallmendos!
