Last year at the year end clearance sales, I bought this toy for The Dormouse, who loves "water play" more than life itself. We had our first day warm enough to go out and play in the water this week and I got it out of it's package in the pantry where it's been sitting for five months or so. These snakes are deceptively hypnotic and I sat, eyes affixed for longer than even she wanted to be outside. They remind me of the water snakes that commonly slithered around at the bottom of everyone's swimming pools where I grew up. An added benefit: they water the lawn better than any sprinkler I've ever owned.
