The Dormouse has missed a couple of days of school due to an ear infection that we ignored until it needed medical intervention. You might think this makes us poor parents, and you're probably right. But in our defense, this afternoon she announced that when she eats Spam, it makes her lips tingle. So you can understand how we might be inclined to occasionally ignore some of her more hypochondriacal-type complaints. After a good five days of an antibiotic though, she seemed to be feeling better and came up with this little gem that I'm sure will end up on the next Steve Martin CD.

Dormouse: "Hey, mom. What did the ear say to the ear infection?"

Me: "I don't know, what did the ear say to the ear infection?"

DM: "Stop EARitating me!"
