We didn't do too much for the Independence Day holiday. I had an extensive talk with The Caterpillar about how it's called "the Pledge of Allegiance" and not the "Plelegiance," but I don't really think my explanation sunk in.  We were too lazy to attend any city- or state-sponsored fireworks display, instead opting for the closeup one in our front yard.
